This is just a quick note to say that I have left São Paulo, and Brazil, to begin a new chapter in my journalistic career working for the BBC in London.

I will be producing and presenting for the BBC Russian Service based in the corporation’s London headquarters.

The last five years in Brazil have been hugely important to me in many ways, not least in gaining priceless career experience from freelancing reporting.

Thank you for your interest in my work so far, and I hope to be able to bring you insight on affairs in Russia — an even bigger world news hotspot — as well as its former Soviet Union neighbours.
